W. David Nunn,
City Manager, Madison

Madison is a very special place ~ one which I know will be wonderful 20, 50, and even 100 years from today through dedicated management.

The City's work force is committed to Madison's prosperity.  We offer our strengths:  long-term department heads, creative and talented specialists, stable and hardworking employees, and committed public servants.  Please know that we work daily to insure that Madison remains both beautiful and within budget.

Remember .... feedback is always welcome and appreciated.  You will always find us willing to listen to you.  Thank you for working with us.

From the Manager's Desk

Common Courtesy OR the Law?
                             ...It's BOTH!

With the increasing volume of both pedestrians and motorists in our community, the City is looking to decrease traffic conflict and improve safety.
     Downtown has three new crosswalks:
(1) across N. Main Street at High Street,
(2) across S. Main Street at Burnett Street, and
(3) across W. Washington Street at First Street.
We want to encourage everyone to use the crosswalks safely.  As we continue to educate the public about crosswalks and the law, please put safetly first.
For more information, reference our new CROSSWALKS public flyer.
